Romantic getaway lake Vico, in Etruscan countryside we look forward to giving you a pleasant holiday in the tranquillity and beauty. In a hazelnut and fruit farm, 3 Kms from the medieval village of Capranica, we have converted a 16th century farmhouse and its outbuildings into 2 larger (6-8 person) and 2 smaller (4 person) flats.
Each flat has its own furnished outside area and guests have the use of an outside swimming pool (12 m x 6 m). Sasily reached by the Autostrada del Sole (Orte exit) or from Rome's Grande Raccordo Anulare, by the Cassia bis, it is 50 km from Rome and 25 km from Viterbo.
The hill on which the farm stands is located in the heart of an area which is particularly rich in historic remains of the Etruscan and Roman civilizations. Interesting excursions can be made to the necropolises of Barbarano, Cerveteri, Tarquinia, S. Giovenale, S. Giuliano and to discover medieval cities such as Tuscania, etc. For trekkers and lovers of water sports, in the vicinity there are splendid Natural Parks and the lakes of Vico, Bracciano and Bolsena and one of Italy's best golf courses "Le Querce" (8 km). Also Horse-riding school at 1 km.
Thanks to a quick and comfortable train connection from Capranica-Sutri railway station, it is possible to reach the centre of Rome roughly in an hour, or, in less than 25 minutes , the town of Viterbo: a center full of medieval buildings also well known as the Town of the Popes.
