Romantic Hotel situated in the istorical center of Gubbio, the Relais Ducale is the annex of the Ducal Palace, where the Duke of Montefeltro used to welcome his owns guests. In 1997 the building was completely estored and become the beautiful hotel wich it is today.
Its position, architectural structure and beautiful gardens make of the Relais Ducale a charming unique "home". Mrs Mencarelli, who also owns an antique shop in Gubbio, likes to regulary renew the furnishing with antiques that, sometimes, can be purchased by the guests.

The rooms and suites with their antique furnishing, the verandas which can be enjoyed even in winter, the suspended garden rich of flowers and colors, the small rooms for reading and conversing, all of them create the ideal atmosphere for resting, enjoyng a quiet luxury.
The 30 rooms and suites and the public rooms are decorated with fine antiques and paintings.
The restaurants Taverna del Lupo and Bosone Garden, owned the same family are located a walking distance from the Hotel. Breakfast is served at the Bar Ducale or, during the summer months, outside on Piazza della Signoria, from where you can enjoy qonderful view.
The Relais Ducale is also the ideal place for small meetings. there are three meeting rooms up to 50 people. For bigger events, the nearby Congress Palace S. Spirito is avaible for rent.
